Manufacturing is at the AUX plant, and mechanically it’s a recognizable higher-tier AUX with its own front panel design. The spec sheet lists A++ efficiency, 4D airflow, an antibacterial filter, a 3-year warranty, and Wi‑Fi readiness (but the module is not preinstalled — typical restraint for the class, though at this price you already want Wi‑Fi onboard).
Visually, the indoor unit is nicely put together: a rounded front panel with a subtle “wave” around the perimeter, a neatly applied brand logo, and a wide-opening cover. In the box there’s one fine-filter element in a dedicated pocket. The remote is bilingual: Cool/Heat are labeled in both Russian and English, while the rest of the buttons are in Latin characters only; the display has backlighting, and there’s a dedicated button to start cooling directly without diving into menus.
Fan-speed control is implemented in the standard AUX-platform way: three exposed levels (Low / Med / High), plus Turbo and Auto, and a fifth speed, Silence, tucked away in a submenu. All five speeds genuinely work and differ noticeably in airflow. On the lowest Silence setting, measured noise was 32 dB — a strong result, below the season average; a slight mechanical undertone is present, but beyond two meters from the unit it’s no longer audible.
A mains stress test on a lab variac is passed with flying colors: both 150 V and 100 V at the input — it keeps running without compressor cutouts.
Inside, the indoor heat exchanger is clearly designed with surface area in mind. The layout is mixed: a double row of return bends transitions to a single row at the sides, plus an additional “make-up” row at the bottom — the manufacturer literally bends the coil to match the unit’s shape to extract maximum usable area. Copper is 5 mm, 15 return bends, 55 cm loop length, and a surface area of 0.26 m². For a 9,000 BTU unit at this price, that’s a serious figure — and clearly one of the main areas where the manufacturer invested.
The outdoor unit is noticeably more compact than many rivals: 18.5 kg, with both port protection and carry handles. The big surprise is the measured vibration amplitude: 0.07. That’s a season-best figure; by feel, the unit runs with virtually no vibration transferred to the casing. It’s explained by two factors at once: a well-executed dual insulating jacket on the compressor and an inverter DC fan motor with true RPM control.
The compressor is a GMCC KSN series with the 89 index — a modern inverter line, and for a 9,000 BTU model it’s not undersized. There are quirks too: the return bends on the coil show a faint green “tint” — a factory marking with no functional role. The outdoor unit’s copper is thick, 8 mm, which is uncommon generosity in this class; but there are only 9 return bends over a 63 cm length, and the resulting surface area is 0.28 m². In other words, savings on the outdoor coil are visible in quantity, not tube thickness.

For an installer or a retailer considering it for the lineup, that means warranty handling and swapping a model from stock follow a clear, established route.
Bottom line on the FeRRUM Titan IFIS09VR: a confident mid-pack performer in its class, with two standout strengths — genuinely low outdoor-unit vibration and an unusually well-engineered indoor heat exchanger. Strengths: the record 0.07 vibration figure, a dense indoor coil, thick 8 mm copper outdoors, a tidy backlit remote with Russian-English markings, stable operation on undervoltage mains, 20 m line length, and a pleasing design. Weak points: Wi‑Fi is still an option (rather than standard), the outdoor coil’s copper surface area is modest, and the Silence speed is buried in a submenu. Recommended for anyone who wants a quiet inverter with a compact, low-noise outdoor unit and is willing to live with a separately purchased Wi‑Fi dongle.
