Independent research has shown that Mitsubishi Electric has been recognised as the most reliable manufacturer of air source heat pumps among managers responsible for selecting and installing systems in the UK. The survey covered 300 specialists from companies actively installing such equipment and demonstrated the brand’s superiority across key perception metrics:
- 🛠️ ease of installation
- ✅ product quality
- 🎓 standard of training programmes
In addition, Mitsubishi Electric was the most widely found air source heat pump brand on sites and was chosen more often than others by specialists for future projects. This confirms its leading position in the UK’s rapidly growing heat pump market.
Commenting on the results, James Chaplen, Head of Product Marketing and Communications, noted that the company has always aimed to provide installers with reliable and highly efficient heat pump solutions, backed by expert training and technical support. He described recognition from professionals who work with the equipment every day as particularly significant.
The research was conducted by the independent company Alchemy Research in two stages of fieldwork from May 2025 to February 2026. It involved installers delivering projects:
- in the residential sector
- in the commercial sector
across the UK.
