Danfoss introduces the ACE controller family: monitoring, control, and optimization in one solution

Danfoss has introduced a new family of controllers, Advanced Control Edge (ACE), which combines hardware, software, and user tools into a single ecosystem. The first solution in this line is the compact AK-EC Lite controller, part of the ADAP-KOOL family, designed for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing the operation of refrigeration equipment and air conditioning and ventilation systems.

The new product is aimed at small foodservice businesses, including:

  • quick-service restaurants
  • canteens
  • cafes
  • bakeries

With a single controller, users get a complete overview of all connected devices, enabling faster response to abnormal situations and simplifying day-to-day equipment operation.

AK-EC Lite combines a hardware controller and an integrated user interface in one device. With it, you can:

  • connect equipment
  • track operating metrics
  • manage alarms 🚨
  • analyze trends
  • configure settings without the need for additional tools

The controller supports:

  • connection of up to 15 devices
  • storage of 150 logs of historical data

It also provides:

  • secure remote access 🔒
  • flexible reporting tools
  • user management

These capabilities help reduce the number of site visits and improve the operating efficiency of the systems.
