Daikin has introduced the high-temperature air-source heat pump ALTHERMA 3 H HT, offering a versatile plug-and-play solution for:
heating 🔥
cooling ❄️
optional domestic hot water 🚿
Even at low outdoor temperatures (down to -28). This adaptability makes the system an excellent option for replacing fossil-fuel equipment such as boilers, furnaces and gas water heaters.
The compressor, developed at Daikin’s Japanese Technology and Innovation Center together with Daikin Europe, can deliver a leaving water temperature of up to 65 degrees. The system uses the low-global-warming-potential refrigerant R-32, which reduces CO2 emissions compared with R-410A.

Flexible equipment combinations make it easy to integrate the heat pump as a replacement for:
boilers
gas furnaces
optional gas domestic hot water
After connecting the outdoor unit ALTHERMA 3 H HT to the indoor hydromodule, the system can work with existing in-home heating emitters — radiators or convectors — as well as Daikin hydronic fan coils and underfloor heating systems.
Noise has been reduced to 41 dBA, and in low-noise mode it reaches 35 dBA thanks to a single large fan and Daikin inverter technology, which, together with the thermodynamic properties of R-32, delivers high energy efficiency.
