Leipfinger-Bader has launched Abluft Direkt—the first-of-its-kind decentralized exhaust ventilation system for internal bathrooms and WCs in multi-apartment residential buildings. The new development completely eliminates the need for vertical risers and provides floor-independent exhaust from each wet room.
Each WC is equipped with its own exhaust line, compliant with DIN 18017-3. This:
- 🚫 eliminates smoke transfer between apartments;
- reduces the need for additional fire-protection elements in the building structure.
The technical part of the system is supplied with a high degree of factory prefabrication and is installed inside roller shutter or venetian blind boxes. This design:
- reduces the number of contractors involved;
- simplifies design and planning;
- speeds up installation work.
Technical specifications:
- airflow rate: up to 83 m³/h;
- maximum power consumption: 4.1 W;
- sound pressure level: 10 to 38 dB(A).
The absence of long duct runs additionally reduces noise transmission between rooms.
