The MSZ-RZ air conditioner from Mitsubishi Electric is a wall-mounted M-series unit capable of efficiently heating and cooling rooms.
Thanks to the Hyper-Heating function, the MSZ-RZ25VU model paired with the MUZ-RZ25VUHZ outdoor unit:
maintains stable heating capacity at outdoor air temperatures down to −25 °C;
is able to operate in heating mode down to −30 °C.
Propane R290 is used as the refrigerant, featuring an extremely low global warming potential — 0.02 🌍.
In Stiftung Warentest testing, the unit with a cooling capacity of around 2.5 kW became the winner in its category.
The appliance delivered the best results for:
heating mode;
energy efficiency;
environmental performance
among the models tested, with R290 being one of two refrigerants of this type in the test.
The split system:
achieves A+++ energy efficiency class;
meets the requirements of the BEG program, which provides an additional 5% bonus when using a low-GWP refrigerant;
when operated as a standalone heat pump, subsidies of up to 70% of investment costs are possible 💶.
The outdoor unit is equipped with a drain pan heater, ensuring reliable operation in severe frost, and the noise level in Low-Noise mode can be reduced to below 55 dB 🔇.
The indoor module is equipped with:
a 3D i-see sensor that detects the presence of people and automatically adjusts the airflow direction;
a Double-Vane function for even temperature distribution.
The factory-installed Plasma-Quad-Plus filter neutralizes bacteria, viruses, allergens, and odors.
The unit comes with:
a MELCloud Wi‑Fi adapter for remote control from a smartphone 📱;
an infrared backlit remote control.
