Panasonic is expanding its range of residential climate solutions with the launch of the compact, energy-efficient RAC Solo air conditioner. The new model is designed for sites where installing an outdoor unit is impossible or undesirable due to architectural constraints, helping preserve the building facade’s appearance without visible changes.
📏 Compactness and design
The indoor unit is just 16.5 cm deep, and its metal casing with minimalist lines fits easily into the interiors of apartments, private homes, and hotels.
🛠️ Installation without an outdoor unit
The system does not require an outdoor unit: air exchange with the outside takes place through two through-holes in the wall:
- with a diameter of 162 mm
- in higher-capacity models — 202 mm
This significantly simplifies installation and eliminates the need to run refrigerant piping.
🧩 Installation options and operating modes
RAC Solo can be installed:
- at the bottom of the wall near the floor
- at height
The absence of refrigerant connections during installation ensures high speed and flexibility of work.
The model is available in versions:
- with heating and cooling modes
- cooling only
In all cases, DC Inverter inverter technology is used, improving energy efficiency and reducing noise levels.
🌐 Selection and visualization
To make equipment selection easier, Panasonic offers:
- an online assistant that helps choose the optimal solution for spaces with up to 5 rooms
- an augmented reality tool that allows you to visualize the air conditioner’s placement before purchase
As a result, RAC Solo combines compactness, easy installation, and modern technology, meeting today’s comfort and design requirements in the residential sector.
